One reason not to boycott France

We have no idea what they sound like. But we figured some of you longtime SN&R readers might remember Amy Paris, who wrote some whip-smart stuff for this paper a few years ago. Paris relocated to San Francisco, and now she’s in a band called the Frenchmen, which will be playing Espresso Metro, at 1030 K Street, on Friday, February 28, commencing around 9 p.m. Also on the bill is local combo Knock Knock and not-so-local combo Jaglet. The cover’s something like $5. I wonder if Paris and her pals will be wearing cologne and drinking Bordeaux.
