The Elliott Fouts Gallery, formerly located in Granite Bay, has moved. The new location, at 4749 J Street, not only is closer to the hub of the Sacramento art scene, providing a welcome boost to the art community, but also will offer more than it did at its last location—for one, a larger, well-designed space. One spacious room is dedicated to the current monthly show, and another exhibits work from the gallery’s large pool of established artists. In addition, the gallery has a separate room to house a collection of limited-edition prints (most of which are by local artists and produced by the gallery), a few studio spaces rented by artists, and a classroom where the gallery soon will be offering classes. The inaugural show features work by Terry Pappas, Matt Bult, Anthony Montanino and others, and illustrates the quality of work the gallery has to offer.
