Religious Girls are cut from a similar cloth as Sacramento’s own Tera Melos, but have a penchant for much more free-form inspired wanderings amid their punk-noise mainstay vibe. The Oakland trio has often done its thing in front of Sean “TerrorEyes.tv” Stout’s lens, so it’s no surprise the video mogul is partnering with KDVS for this epic Fourth of July throwdown. With bonus goodness in the form of Zorch (experimental mathy noise/shoegaze from Austin; dig its new two-track EP!), Pregnant (Placerville funky-tender hick beats), Buk Buk Bigups (Midtown experimental orchestra) and Mom (fright opera). Call in sick on Tuesday, for real. 1517 21st Street, www.myspace.com/religiousgirls.
