California Musical Theatre gets its Broadway Sacramento season started this week with a touring production of Jersey Boys. The Tony- and Grammy-winning jukebox musical tells the story of the popular rock group the Four Seasons (who were also sometimes billed as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons). The group was best known for its early '60s falsetto-laden hits such as “Big Girls Don't Cry” and “Sherry” before adjusting its sound and resurfacing again in 1975 with the disco hit “December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night).”The stage version of the musical came out in 2005, and this past summer it was adapted into a musical drama film directed by Clint Eastwood. Jersey Boys, 2 p.m. Thursday, Saturday and Sunday; 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, November 9. $38-$153. Community Center Theater, 1301 L Street; (916) 557-1999; www.broadwaysacramento.com. Through November 22.
