The holiday stage fun is far from over, as Broadway Sacramento brings Cirque Dreams Holidaze to town. Created and directed by Neil Goldberg, the Cirque Productions show uses acrobatic and aerialist performances (as well as some plate spinning and juggling) in addition to song and dance to create a real spectacle. It’s like Cirque du Soleil, although no relation to that troupe. Consider it a holiday mash-up of circus acts and theatrical magic. The show centers around a magical 24-foot Christmas tree. When the ornaments, decorations and presents come to life, there’s an eggnog-filled punch bowl full of fun to be had, along with plenty of fun with gingerbread men, snowmen, toy soldiers and other holiday icons.

Cirque Dreams Holidaze, 8 p.m. Wednesday, 2 and 8 p.m. Thursday, 2 and 8 p.m. Friday, 4 and 8 p.m. Saturday, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday. $18-$75. Broadway Sacramento at the Community Center Theater, 1301 L Street; (916) 557-1999 or (916) 808-5181; www.californiamusicaltheatre.com. Through January 2.
