Celebration Arts' production of the final play in August Wilson's “century cycle” takes place in the '90s, as Harmond Wilks (Romann K.B. Hodge) is on the verge of “making it”—he's in a partnership to redevelop Pittsburgh's Hill District and about to announce his candidacy for mayor. The discovery that a house belonging to an old man (Kelton Howard) was purchased illegally for demolition forces Wilks to examine his values—at great cost to his success. Directed by James Wheatley. Th, F, Sa 8pm; Su 2pm. Through 10/20. $8-$15. Celebration Arts, 4469 D St.; (916) 455-2787; www.celebrationarts.net.
