Forever Goldrush

Forever Goldrush

Fresh from a road trip to Austin’s South by Southwest Music Festival, where all up-and-coming recording artists go to be courted by record weasels with the promise of signing their lives away on the dotted line of that coveted but onerous major-label contract, local country-rock heroes Forever Goldrush plug in on Saturday night, March 24, at Old Ironsides, 1901 S St. in Midtown. Also on the bill is this year’s hottest new act, Freight Train Riders of America, which plies a similar creosote-soaked railroad track for its inspiration, and Ten Pound Brown from out of town—San Diego, to be specific. So cram a can of beans into that bindlestiff, put on your greasy engineer’s cap and come on down. Show starts at 9:30 p.m., admission is $7, 21 and over, only. Sorry, kids.
