Damon Jamal’s “Can’t Knock the Hustle” music video for the debut single off local rapper Bueno’s forthcoming album, of the same title, is a pretty slick production. Of course, nothing at all happens in the video—Bueno raps in front of a convenience store, raps in a convertible and raps at a barbecue with his crew—but this is a proven formula for success in the rap-video world. I mean, let’s not pretend like “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” was Lawrence of Arabia or anything, but that video kicked ass.
