Fri., May 10, BottleRock Napa

Napa Valley Expo, 11:45 a.m., $139-$599

When Alabama Shakes, Cake and Jane's Addiction don't get top billing at a festival, you know it's going to kick ass. From Americana (Tift Merritt) to pop rock (Tristan Prettyman), R&B and soul (Allen Stone) to punk (Bad Religion), country (Dwight Yoakam) to alternative (the Wallflowers), this multiday festival has it all. In addition to Alabama Shakes and Prettyman, Friday's lineup includes the Black Keys (pictured), the Shins, Vintage Trouble and the Flaming Lips. Augmenting the musical awesomeness will be a number of great wines and delicious food, and a host of causes and organizations will benefit from this festival. It continues through Sunday. 575 Third Street in Napa, www.bottlerocknapavalley.com.
