Allison Jones and Derek Fieth started the indie-electronic duo Pets in 2003 and have since shared the stage with notable bands like the Epoxies and Dead Meadow. Channeling the fuzzier side of rock with its newest album, Ready the Rifles, Pets also showcases its classic pop-rock roots through songs like “Walking Into the Sun” with catchy “oh oh oh” chants and steady drum cadences that keep one nodding.
