Eye candy, anyone?

A surrealist game called the exquisite corpse involves taking a piece of paper and folding it into thirds. Someone draws the upper part of the human torso, and then the paper is folded so another person can create a midsection without seeing what the first person drew. The same goes for the lower portion. A new show at the Art Foundry Gallery titled The Exquisite Corpse features many local artists teamed in threes; the show contains 22 pieces of art that employ the use of this game in media ranging from traditional drawings to unusual video concoctions. It’s obvious this show was a lot of fun to put together, and it makes for exquisite eye candy. The Exquisite Corpse runs through Nov. 4 at the Art Foundry Gallery, 1025 R St. Call 444-2787 for more information.
