Dolphins

Rated 4.0

During this nearly 40-minute IMAX event, we are splashed with buckets of information about these notoriously flirtatious creatures as up-close and personal cameras take us from Sea World to the Bahamas to the seas of Patagonia. Sting sings several songs and Pierce Brosnan provides soothing narration while we learn about ongoing science projects that investigate what all that underwater dolphin chatter is about, explore the bond between a naturalist and his bottleneck companion, and soak up postcards of tropical scenery. Threats to dolphins (those damned tuna nets, pollution, and shark attacks) are also mentioned in this Oscar-nominated documentary directed by Everest’s Greg MacGilluvray.
