Motown The Musical makes a stop as part of the Broadway Sacramento this week. This touring “jukebox musical” packs in 50-plus pop and soul hits from the 1960s. All the tunes here were ones released by Detroit’s Motown Records, which launched black megastars such as the Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson.
