Cheaper by the Dozen 2

Rated 1.0

The Baker family (Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt, Tom Welling, Hilary Duff and 10 Hollywood kids) spends the summer at its old lakeside cabin in Minnesota, where Dad reignites his rivalry with another vacationing father (Eugene Levy) who’s there with his fourth wife (Carmen Electra). Movies like this make you think about all the homeless people $30 million would feed. Not that the money would ever go to that, of course, but the thought just automatically springs to mind while you sit there waiting for the predictable ending and the inevitable staged “outtakes” over the closing credits. What more can you say about a movie in which Carmen Electra gives the most sincere performance? Martin and Levy mug for their close-ups and then retire to their trailers while the stunt doubles do the really hard work.
