Bewitched grapes

Witch fingers

Grapery, a Bakersfield-area farm, specializes in unusual table grapes. Have you tried cotton candy grapes? They taste miraculously like spun sugar. Want something even wackier yet more delicious? Look for long, slender witch finger grapes, also known as teardrops. They come in red and green, but the purplish variety is most striking. Ranging in size from pinkie finger to thumb, these hybridized grapes aren’t too sweet or tart. They’re so richly grapey, it’s hard to keep your fingers off them. Find them in local grocery stores, such as Raley’s.
