Best ice cream for breakfast

Sweet Dozen

There are few unhealthier things to eat for breakfast than an ice-cream doughnut. Especially when it's one from Sweet Dozen, with Gunther's Ice Cream and a topping of your choice (I had Oreo). The doughnut comes out piping hot, with the glaze still sticky and melted. The best part: Sweet Dozen isn't as packed as the other place in south Sacramento that's popular for its ice-cream doughnuts (Baker's Donuts)—plus, it's supercreative. Other fillings include coffee-flavored ice cream, green-tea ice cream, and vanilla ice cream with bacon and maple.
