Just in time to ruin all of our so-called summer swimsuit bodies before they even take shape, the first ever Old Sacramento Chocolate Week starts this Monday, May 4, and lasts through Sunday, May 10. The week-long celebration of chocolate, coordinated by the Old Sacramento Business Association features a variety of chocolate-related events designed to attract people to Old Sacramento. Highlights include a chocolate-themed trivia night called Choc-la-trivia (7 p.m. on Monday, May 4, at Fat City Bar & Cafe, 1001 Front Street), a beer and chocolate pairing event (5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, at Ten22, 1022 Second Street) and an eight-stop chocolate tour ($8 for two people, 4 p.m. on Friday, May 8, starting at 1124 Second Street). Some events require advance registration but others don't. Find out more by calling (916) 442-8575 or visiting www.oldsacramento.com.
