Dirty Pair Flash: Angels at World’s End

Kei and Yuri, the notorious “Dirty Pair” who always seem to unintentionally bring disaster to unsuspecting worlds despite their best intentions not to, are back in another comedy/action series that sees their comedic style grow super stale. These two “trouble consultants” in the 3WA (an interplanetary police force) always seem to get caught up in the most bizarre and funny intergalactic conspiracies to destroy planets, overthrow governments or assassinate key political players. The original Dirty Pair Flash series ended at just the right time; the series creators seemed to have run out of ideas for Kei and Yuri’s destructively funny escapades in outer space. This volume starts out OK, but then disintegrates into an unbearable monstrosity for its final three quarters.
