Tales with a twang …

Laundry & Bourbon centers on the funny gossip and observations of three small-town Texas housewives, who fold laundry, watch TV and sip bourbon the whole time. Lone Star depicts the flipside of the same coin—two Texan males sipping beer and shooting the breeze about the good old days and everything else under the sun. Written by James McLure, the companion comedies are performed now through Saturday, June 9 at The Chico Cabaret, 2201 Pillsbury Rd. (in the Almond Orchard Shopping Center). For information about tickets, special dinner theater packages and the Sunday brunch show (June 3), call 895-0245. Recommended for mature audiences only.
