It’s a dry heat

July is generally the hottest month in the U.S., and nobody knows that better than those of us who live in Chico and Butte County. This month we’ve seen it hover around 105, which is pretty damn hot. Maybe it would make you feel cooler to know that the record for July heat in Chico is 117 degrees Fahrenheit, recorded July 15, 1972.
