Obamacare popularity rises

Poll on the eve of Trump presidency signals change of heart on ACA

The closer it gets to Americans seeing a repeal of the Affordable Care Act, the more they are having second thoughts about the end of the federal health care law. According to a new Fox News poll, only 23 percent of respondents want the law repealed. That’s a nearly 10-point drop from July (32 percent). Among Republicans, the data show that 46 percent favor a full repeal. That’s also down significantly, from 14 points two years ago. The poll showed that 28 percent of respondents would like the law expanded, an increase of 7 percent.
