Stacie McGue, a Chico State English Major, talks Monday to National Guard Specialist Bill Biggs of Charlie Company, 579th Engineering. McGue said, “I was talking to them about my dad who is also in the guard and telling them I support the troops.” Sgt. Gregg Hochderffer, Recruiter and retention officer told the CN&R, “We try to get three people a month from the Chico area. We’re a little short this month and we’re looking for some patriots to step up.”
