‘Ohana Health offers Paradise’s first community acupuncture clinic

Residents on the Ridge now have access to acupuncture therapy at ‘Ohana Health, a clinic in Paradise that opened in mid-January.

Along with acupuncture, the 4,000-square-foot clinic (which owner Anne Weaver describes as a “health mall”) at 757 Fir St. offers regular yoga, pilates and tai chi classes, multiple spaces for therapeutic massage, and a lobby complete with a music and lending library, according to an ‘Ohana Health press release.

‘Ohana (named after the Hawaiian word for “family”) currently offers walk-in acupuncture therapy in a group setting on the first and third Fridays of each month from 2 to 6 p.m.; each patient decides how much to pay, from $20 to $40.

Acupuncture has successfully been used to treat arthritis, digestive disorders, addictions, sleep disorders, circulatory ailments and more. Go to www.ohanahealth.net for more info.
