I witness

I was recently in your salon and you, the owner, told me all about how you won the award for Best in Chico. You told me how the News & Review came to you and told you that you won and they would be writing an article about your salon and giving you a plaque. The truth is, you bought an ad that said you were Best in Chico; nobody voted for you. How do I know this? The same media company that sold you the ad, as well as your plaque, contacted me too—but I don’t need to falsely advertise. How sad that you as a business owner have to lie to your customers. Whatever happened to truth in advertising?
