Several stories about one of our favorite subjects
We had food on our minds this week. Maybe it was the cooler weather that got our appetites going. It doesn’t take much. We like to eat: We like to cook, and we really like to go out to eat in Chico’s many terrific restaurants. So consider this issue a celebration: of good food, of the people who make good food for us, and of the pleasures of eating with others, which of course is one of the most wonderful things we do in this earthly life. One story looks at the changing, and improving, face of Chico restaurants, one is a portrait of a local chef, and one introduces you to a sweet new ice cream parlor.
