Coke or Pepsi?

For those who waver on what to choose at the vending machine, the decision may just have gotten a bit tougher.

After Coca-Cola’s recent announcement to reduce energy and water consumption, rival Pepsi has signed on as a sponsor of the Live Earth concerts—a project that aims to reduce global warming.

The series of concerts are slated to start on July 7 in Australia and will continue on all seven continents with an array of performers, such as Madonna, Foo Fighters, The Police and Kelly Clarkson.

Al Gore, co-chairman of the project, said he hopes Live Earth will start a massive public-education effort that will help solve the climate crisis. The concerts will be streamed live on the Net, with a goal to bring together more than 2 billion people.
