This mosaic depicting the flora and fauna of Butte County was unveiled during a ceremony at Chapman Elementary School on Tuesday, June 3. Retired instructors Suzanna Steel, Lynn Schmidt and Sue Warwick—who taught at Chapman for a combined 74 years—enlisted the help of hundreds of students to create the public artwork.
