In September, blind photographer Pete Eckert was being filmed by a French TV crew. The footage included a photo shoot he did with a young neighbor, Grace, as his model. “While Grace liked that she will be on French TV, she will like her photo in the local paper better,” the artist said.

Grace will hopefully also like that her photo will be on exhibit at A Bitchin’ Space October 8 and 9, as part of the artist’s I Can’t See My Art Work show. The show also includes other work by Eckert, who was recently featured in SN&R’s Best of Sacramento issue (see “Pete Eckert: Best stimulating photographer” SN&R Best of Sex & Love, September 22) for his fantastically phantasmic photos he shot for Playboy magazine.

He may not be able to see his artwork, but you can see his vision.
