John Stuart Berger is well-known for painting fantastically wretched birds, worms and rats that would be at home in Betelgeuse's netherworld. The Sacramento artist is the curatorial power behind Fe Gallery's April exhibition, The Point of No Return, so expect some twisted, playful and bold artwork from a roster of more than two-dozen artists, including folks from Short Center North.
