The Tempest

John Deaderick directs and plays Prospero in this production, faithful to Shakespeare’s text, of a deposed duke turned wizard, his daughter, spirits, an island and a shipwreck that brings to his refuge the world he left behind. Disaster threatens repeatedly, but magic wins out. The costumes are fantastic (especially those of the sprite Ariel and the demi-monster Caliban), and Deaderick anchors the show as the sage magician.
