Patrick Hilligan loves capoeira so much, he studied the dance/martial arts combo (demonstrated here) for 10 years and went to Brazil five times before he opened the Capoeira Arts Academy (1811 Del Paso Boulevard, (916) 641-2988, www.adbcapoeira.com). He offers adult beginner classes Monday through Friday, from 6 p.m.; and kid’s classes on Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. The first one’s free, so just show up or call (916) 524-3968 to learn more.
