Race for the Arts 2009

Why: Participate in this 5-kilometer run/walk and 100 percent of the pledge money goes directly to any California school’s art program.

Sacramento Monarchs Fan Appreciation Night

Why: Scream as loud as you can to win stuff like digital cameras, iPods and Xbox 360s. The game (vs. the Minnesota Lynx) won’t be bad, either.
