SLC Punk

Rated 2.0 A Salt Lake City punk takes us on a rather senseless Reagan-era tour of his mod, poseur, promiscuous, paranoid, druggie friends in this forced slice of life from writer-director James Marendino. Blue-haired anarchist Stevo (played with a mosh pit swagger by Scream’s Matthew Lillard) wants to disembowel the local university instead of attending Harvard Law School in the footsteps of his ex-hippie dad (Christopher McDonald). He lives with his life-long pal, Heroin Bob (Michael Goorjian), who is scared of needles. Their lives are a sometimes-comic mess. He talks into the camera a lot, as if we care.
