Sacramento State’s annual Art Ball is here again, with a whole new array of student talent to admire. Since 1994, the Art Ball has remained an opportunity for the Alumni Association&Rsquo;s art chapter to showcase and celebrate the year’s worth of student work. The popularity and success of the Art Ball have transformed this event into a campus-wide highlight of the art realm. Senior and graduate students’ art will be exhibited all over CSUS, with major shows in Kadema Hall’s Else and Witt galleries, and faculty art will be showcased in the Library Gallery. There will be a wide variety of art media, from paintings to sculpture to metal workings to electronic artwork to installations. For those with short attention spans, there will also be receptions in the Kadema courtyard, Library Gallery and Art Sculpture Lab, with food, drinks and 1920s surrealist-inspired performances.
