Remember the Titans

Nice story of a black football coach (Denzel Washington) who takes over a high school football team after it has undergone government-enforced racial integration. The film is quite lightweight for the subject matter, but Washington and company make it watchable. Comes up a bit short on the technical side, with the director opting for shots that are too tight during football action, making it hard to follow what’s going on. Bring the kids.
