Plug-ins remain hot this year.

General Motors’ Chevrolet Volt, a plug-in hybrid, recently won the North American Car of the Year award. But the ongoing North American International Auto Show is already starting to roll out a new generation of hybrids, plug-ins and fuel-cell-powered vehicles. Among some of the innovations being unveiled are two new models in the Toyota Prius family, a plug-in hybrid minivan from Ford, and some high-priced European rides like the E- and F-cell cars from Mercedes, and a Porsche hybrid. The show continues through Sunday. Photos and more information can be found at www.naias.com.
