Old Sacramento Underground Tours

It’s possibly the most Sacramento touristy thing you can do—to head underneath Old Sacramento and explore the city’s past. Tour guides will lead families on an exploration of what’s been hidden underground for 150 years before a street-raising project brought Sac up a level. The Sacramento History Museum also hosts Underground After Hours, an adult-only tour of old brothels that reveals dark and racy tales. The season officially kicks off April 1, but spring break preview tours will begin Monday. 101 I Street.
