Late Nite Catechism: ’Til Death Do Us Part

Rated 3.0

Actress Maripat Donovan deftly impersonates a disciplinarian nun in this solo comedy show with audience participation. But her jokes are old and shopworn, including “Which way should the toilet paper unroll?” Aging Catholics, who recall nuns as schoolteachers, will giggle. Others may tune out midway through. Actress Noni Newton-Breen assumes the role on October 6. Through 11/22. $32-$47, visit the Web site for showtimes. The Cosmopolitan Cabaret, 1000 K St.; (916) 557-1999; www.cosmopolitancabaret.com.
