Ghost Ship

Rated 2.0 Director Steve Beck (Thirteen Ghosts) clobbers the audience with the most gruesome prologue I have ever seen in a horror movie and then settles the story into a routine ghost story and bloody body count. The salvage crew (including Gabriel Byrne and Julianna Margulies) of the tugboat Arctic Warrior returns to sea immediately after a grueling mission in hopes of locating an abandoned vessel sighted by a Canadian pilot (Desmond Harrington). The pilot goes along to ensure the bounty will be shared justly. Soon, the group crosses paths with the cavernous remains of a notorious luxury liner that disappeared more than 40 years ago. Once abroad the ship, the fortune hunters find gold bullion, the apparition of a young girl and an evil force that soon might convert them all to fish bait.
