From C-Webb’s vault

The Chris Webber Collection

Chris Webber is probably best known as the greatest Sacramento Kings player (of the Sacramento era, at least). He's also been collecting African-American art and artifacts since '93. They were once stored in Sacramento Public Library's Archival Vault and displayed at the Crocker Art Museum, before Webber took them with him in 2010. Even though the pieces no longer reside in Sacramento, they're still viewable over at the collection's website. There, find photos, video and a free, downloadable curriculum. Highlights include personal writings by Frederick Douglass and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. www.chriswebber.com/the-collection.
