Friends of the Folsom Library Book Sale

Friday, September 13, through Sunday, September 15

The best thing about the e-book revolution? Luddites increasingly get to pick up used books on the cheap. While everyone else is “turning the page” on their Kindles and not enjoying that well-loved book smell, resourceful readers can stock up on books, audio books, CDs and videocassettes (because Friends of the Folsom Library are hoping hardcover readers still use VHS players, too). Free admission, except for Friday's preview day, $5; 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday; 411 Stafford Street in Folsom; (916) 608-8743; www.foflib.org.
