Friday Night Concerts in the Park lines up another talented bill with headliners Agent Ribbons. Ex-locals by way of Austin, Texas, Agent Ribbons showcases minimal guitar-centric pop with eclectic influences, like do-wop and punk. Roman Funerals, featuring the juggling post-pubescent brothers Ferro, will be representing its hook-heavy version of gloom-and-doom. Plus, they might have the best lyric of 2010: “I go to sleep at night wearing all my clothes, in case the rich kids come to get me.” Brother-sister duo, the Dreaded Diamond, will open and will also be releasing its long-awaited album Healthy Fears—sure to be amazing. 910 I Street, www.myspace.com/thedreadeddiamond.
