The warm vibes of THIS, the summer concert series outside the MARRS Building, will be difficult to duplicate on a December night, but that’s not stopping anyone from trying. The This is Midtown Mountain Getdown New Year’s Eve party is leaning into the chill factor with a slopes theme and hoping to offset the low degrees with heat-seeking tropicalia dance from Miami Horror (pictured). The Australian band will be joined by Le Youth from Los Angeles, Mykill of San Francisco, and local stalwart Dusty Brown.
