Of the yacht rock bounty provided by the ’70s and ’80s, Boz Scaggs might be the most fun to sing along and dance awkwardly to—“Lido Shuffle” and “Lowdown” are in his repertoire, after all. The former singer for the Steve Miller Band has had a long and winding career, popping in and out of visibility as a musician and then the proprietor of the legendary music venue Slim’s in San Francisco.
