Eat meat? Win money.
October is Vegetarian Awareness Month. Let’s translate that for apathetic omnivores: Eat vegetarian for day, win $250. For a week, $500. Question is, can you handle eating healthier for such a short period of time? If so, sign a pledge card with the North American Vegetarian Society at www.worldvegetarianday.org, which hopes to reduce the amount of meat products consumed this month by more than a million animals. It’s a good opportunity to enjoy vegetarianism, save moola and maybe win a few hundies. Translation: Winner, winner, no chicken dinner!
