No Culture at Bravado with pics by the CobraSnake Thursday, April 30, at Mix Downtown, 1531 L Street; (916) 442-8811; www.mixdowntown.net.

A picture is worth a thousand words, yeah, but how many beats does it merit? (Aside: This is the kind of lede they teach you never to use in J-School, but I never attended J-School, so there.) Anyway, Mark “the CobraSnake” Hunter is the premier Los Angeles dance-club shutterbug, known for tirelessly partying (read: working) and snapping grabs of “famous” deejays, like L.A. ringleader Steve Aoki and his loyal club-going cabal. Photos pop up on Hunter’s site, www.thecobrasnake.com, the next morning, so revelers can relive their awesome/desperate/fun-loving/phony social lives instead of dicking around on Facebook. For us Sacramentans, April 30 is our big chance to become a party-pics star: The CobraSnake will photograph the No Culture deejay set at Bravado! Don’t screw this up.
