When Milk Gallery spilled that it would be closing back in June 2012, it was an unfortunate loss to the visual (and performing) arts community. Luckily, though, it hasn't completely evaporated. Now operating as a pop-up gallery, it has paired up with E Street Gallery for the appropriately themed show Use the Buddy System. Exhibiting buddies include Chris Daubert and Doug Rice, Rik Keller and Jenny Stark, and Roy Tatman and Chris Botta, among others. And, according to Milk's director Melanie Bown, there will be “a reflective spectrum-like covered alligator head” in the show. Collaboration can be so intriguing.
