Aida Gamez had solo shows at B. Sakata Garo in 2013 and 2010—both warranting a trip to 20th Street to see. Her solo exhibition this month follows suit, with an alluring pull of softness, darkness and sharp edges that is easy for a viewer to slip into, like an artful vortex.
