Let’s break down this Saturday’s Launch design and music festival so that you can make an educated, informed decision—and the right decision—by choosing to attend. All right, music: locals Mike Diamond, Must. Not. Die., Sister Crayon, Dusty Brown and more will join out-of-towners L.A. Riots, Wallpaper, Dances With White Girls and more on three stages (main stage, poolside deejays and an electro lounge). As for fashion: Expect designs by locals Reject, Van Der Neer, Velvet Leaf and Artifacts; all will be exhibited on a runway for your viewing pleasure. What else will go down? Think drinks, eats, fashion and craft vendors, swimming-pool shenanigans, hipster grifterism, late-night cab rides back home—and a rare local performance by once Sacramentan electronica artist Tycho, who has a new album coming out soon. Oh, and it’s all-ages.
