Free love. Communes. The back-to-the-land movement. The draft. Protests. Rock ’n’ roll. The 1960s marked a watershed for social change and idealism in America’s history. During this period, Roberta Price was in Libre, Colorado, in an alternative community, camera in hand. Her photographic relics from her time spent there are presented in Across the Great Divide: A Photo Chronicle of the Counterculture in Davis’ Richard L. Nelson Gallery. This collection is only up until May 22, so take advantage of this opportunity to glimpse into the past.
